The company is seeking a Finance Manager to manage our financial operations and provide strategic financial insights across our group of businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance leader to build our team while managing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and compliance while ensuring the integrity of our financial processes. You will lead a small team, working closely with our external accountant and our Senior management team. This role will be a key business partner to Directors and Senior Managers, providing financial insights to support decision-making and drive growth.

Finance Manager

We are a growing Asian hospitality group with multiple stores operating across NSW. The company is seeking a Finance Manager to manage our financial operations and provide strategic financial insights across our group of businesses.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance leader to build our team while managing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and compliance while ensuring the integrity of our financial processes.

You will lead a small team, working closely with our external accountant and our Senior management team.

This role will be a key business partner to Directors and Senior Managers, providing financial insights to support decision-making and drive growth.

The Role

* Oversee all financial reporting, compliance, and accounting processes.
* Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
* Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Implement and optimise financial controls and procedures.
* Evaluate the financial performance of the organisation
* Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organisation.
* Manage cash flow, payroll, tax compliance, and supplier payments.
* Provide insights and recommendations to maximize profitability.
* Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
* Work closely with managers to track costs, margins, and operational efficiency.
* Financial management, including COGS, labour costs, and P&L analysis.
* Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations, including BAS, GST, and payroll tax.

Requirements

* Finance Manager/ Controller Experience - minimum 3 years.
* Australian Citizen
* Advanced Excel skills
* Proficient in Accounting Software MYOB
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred

* Experience in Hospitality or Multiple Retail Stores


Salary : $95,000 + super (negotiable)
