About The Firm and Role
Located in Sydney CBD, an established and reputable accounting firm is currently seeking to recruit a graduate/junior level Accountant.
You will be given lots of opportunities to gain exposure to more complex work as part of your learning progression. The main focus of the position will be:
−Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
−BAS/IAS/Payroll
−Bookkeeping
−Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
−Working towards deadlines

The Ideal Candidate
−A degree in Accounting, preferred with at least 1 year's experience working in an Australian based Public Practice Accounting Firm.
−Experience with Xero & Quickbooks;
−Have a right to work in Australia
−Hard working, reliable and can-do attitude
−Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
−Ability to multi-task/prioritise and manage time effectively and efficiently
−Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
