My tile market is one of the biggest tiles and tools product retailers in Sydney, who has been a proud supplier to the public and construction industry for over 20 years by providing quality tiles and tools. We’re looking to hire a motivated Retail Sales assistant who has a strong work ethic and the desire to succeed in our new store in Brookvale. This role is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company, which will provide you with an opportunity to grow and develop within a supportive environment. As a Sales Assistant , you will work as an individual and as part of a team to ensure we meet customer expectations, by providing exceptional customer service.

As a Sales Assistant , you will work as an individual and as part of a team to ensure we meet customer expectations, by providing exceptional customer service.

工作介绍
*Working hours : Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

*Job descriptions:

• Receiving and storing the delivery of large or small amounts of stock;
• Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for;
• Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers;
• Being responsible for processing cash and card payments;
• Answering queries from customers;
• Balancing cash registers with receipts;
• Dealing with customer refunds;
• Responsible dealing with customer complaints;
• Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor;
• Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for fraudulent credit cards etc;
• Places an order for the client;
• Record customer’s details and quotation and input all relevant data to the system;
• Record purchase order and invoice from suppliers related to all sales activities;
• Review monthly statements from suppliers and report to Store Manager for payment;
• Organise samples with merchandise;
• Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays;
• Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor; and
• Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.

Trainings are provided.
