16家门店成为疫情场所，Countdown上千名员工被迫居家隔离（图）
TVNZ8月23日报道，1000多名Countdown超市工作人员在接触新冠病例后开始居家隔离。
卫生部已将16家Countdown超市列入疫情场所，许多工作人员需要暂停工作。
员工数量少也导致奥克兰和惠灵顿的五家商店关闭，暂时将工作员工重新分配到其他地方。
Countdown公司总经理Kiri Hannafin说：“加入疫情场所的商店都将关店进行深度清洁，并尽快重新开业。”

与此同时，四家New World超市和三家Pak'n Save超市也列入了疫情场所。
奥克兰和惠灵顿的员工由于许多原因被隔离。
有些人容易受到新冠影响，没有人照顾孩子，或者他们的家人去过疫情场所。
Hannafin说：“我们预计这一数字将继续增加，我们正在尽最大努力解决这一问题。我们员工和客户的安全是我们的首要任务。”
奥克兰的Countdown Manurewa是周一刚加入疫情场所名单的，现在已关闭进行深度清洁。

This labour government is a big disgrace. There is no proactive plan in place. All they do is just reacting to the situation in the last minute. Only 20% of police force are vaccinated and those are in high risk frontline people. When the first delta outbreak started, they should have tightened the border and reviewed their quarantine policies but they did ** all. Until it spreads crazily in NZ, oh the dear Mrs Perfect gets on TV telling us how good her government is doing. What a **ing disgrace! The word Competence and labour just don’t go well together. Sure, keep handing out money to those dole bludgers I am sure you can borrow more from China to buy your vaccine.
